I am a bird

I am a bird with two strong wings. The wings carry me high up in the sky. From there I can see the world below very clearly. The trees, fields, rivers and hills are really beautiful when seen from the sky. The people below look very small.

As I can fly from tree to tree, I get the chance to eat various kinds of fruits every day.

Sometime when I eat mangoes on trees, children look up and ask for a fruit . I gladly pluck a few mangoes and drop them down for the children to pick. Ho! How happy they are to get mangoes without any effort.

World Food Day

World food day was celebrated on the 16 th of October all ever the  world. This day is celebrated in different ways in different countries. World food day is the day of action against hunger. Pepole around the world come together to declare their commitment to erodicate hunger in our life time,because when it comes to hunger,only acceptable number is zero in the eorld.
                                 This day also celebrates the creation of the Food and Agriculture Oraganisation(FAO) of the United Nations on 16th October 1945. So let us all preserve food from today and help the poor who are suffering without food.

My Home

My home is a place of complete peace and harmony.Among all the family members in my home there is such absolute understanding that, I have never had an occasion to wish for better or for more.
My home houses a wonderful family which includes my grand parents,my parents,my elder sister and my younger sister. People of tree generations bound together in one thread with love and care for each other,I am so very happy and satisfied in my home.

A Boat Journey

A journey by a boat can be a very interesting experience but, it can spell danger as well.This is what I have learned by my one one and only and the very first experience at boating.
Once during the summer vacation we had gone to Nuwara Eliya for our holidays as, there lived a few of our relatives and friends.At Nuwara Eliya,the Ganges flows at its fall bloom and that is what I had wanted to enjoy and experience.
